MKUltra Never Stopped: From CIA Mind Control Experiments to Modern Population Control
First, let's recap what MKUltra actually was and why it still gets so much attention today—probably because of how insane it was.
MKUltra was a CIA program where over a thousand U.S. soldiers, prisoners, mental patients, and even ordinary civilians were experimented on without their consent or knowledge. In short, they were testing on the unknowing public with things like LSD and other drugs, hypnosis, sleep deprivation, and various concoctions—basically anything to alter the mind and make a person do what the agency wanted. Whether that meant giving up state secrets or becoming a sleeper agent, it covered a lot of ground.
There's even speculation that many serial murderers and assassins from that era were victims of this program, including Ted Kaczynski (the Unabomber), Charles Manson, James Earl Ray (assassin of Martin Luther King Jr.), Sirhan Sirhan, and Jack Ruby. The theory is that the CIA used these people to carry out their bidding without them fully knowing what was happening.
But it's not all speculation—the CIA did get caught, which is why it's such a big deal. This was the first time these kinds of operations came out as documented fact.
And MKUltra wasn't the only project like this. There was Project Chatter in the late 1940s and early 1950s, where the U.S. Navy tested LSD and other drugs on human subjects to extract information during interrogations.
Then came Project Bluebird in 1950–1951, where the CIA studied hypnosis, polygraphs, and drugs for personnel screening and agent interrogation—mostly early tests on suspected Russian agents.
Project Artichoke in 1951 expanded on Bluebird, adding drugs to hypnosis and chemicals to induce amnesia, thought regression, or even suppress assassinations. They used things like morphine, mescaline, and LSD on unwitting CIA agents.
MKUltra officially began in 1953 and absorbed all these efforts. They dosed people with LSD, mescaline, psilocybin, heroin, morphine, amphetamines, and other horrific chemicals—slipped into food, drinks, or secretly injected, with subjects having no idea.
They also used electroshock and sensory deprivation as "depatterning" agents to break down personalities, programmed behavior by playing repetitive audio loops during drug-induced comas, and inflicted all sorts of mental and physical abuse: sleep deprivation, sensory deprivation chambers, radiation exposure, biological agents, and frequency blasts to create concussions and erase memories.
This was done to CIA employees, military personnel, prisoners, drug addicts, prostitutes, mental patients, and random civilians.
We don't fully know their goals—much of it aimed at creating truth serums to extract state secrets, but it went far beyond that, causing psychosis, addictions, violence, suicides, and murders.
The program was largely stopped during the Watergate scandal, which the CIA was tied up in. Nixon and the CIA tried to cover up the break-in at the Democratic National Committee headquarters at the Watergate complex. Nixon ordered the CIA to tell the FBI to stop investigating by falsely claiming national security concerns.
Because of the scandal, CIA Director Richard Helms ordered the destruction of MKUltra records in 1973, effectively terminating the program. He later testified that moral issues and the risk of scandal played roles in earlier decisions to stop unwitting tests.
The project was quietly buried from within to avoid accountability. Public exposure came later through surviving documents from a 1977 Freedom of Information request and the 1975 Church Committee, which revealed what little remained. So much was destroyed that we really don't know the full extent—they could have been training and drugging people like Ted Kaczynski or Charles Manson to start cults and commit murders. There's a lot of evidence pointing in that direction, but as far as the mainstream is concerned, it all ended in 1973.
Or did it?
No, there was no official MKUltra project after 1973—it wasn't restarted. But as the public and governing bodies became more aware of what the CIA and others were doing, these operations had to become more covert.
The CIA has used what they learned from MKUltra. The enhanced interrogation program under Bush showed clear echoes: waterboarding, sensory deprivation, sleep deprivation, and stress positions to break detainees.
APA investigations in 2015 revealed that psychologists Bruce Jessen and James Mitchell, who designed the program, drew from SERE training, which stemmed from 1950s studies of communist brainwashing and MKUltra precursors. Some CIA doctors monitoring sessions like experiments violated ethical rules on human subjects.
There was also Project Medication from 2002 to 2006, which explored truth serums for terror subjects (declassified in 2018).
In 2011 under Obama, DARPA subcontracted to Arizona State University to use transcranial magnetic stimulation to "disrupt narratives" neurologically, aiming to influence persuasion on a brain level.
Companies like Neuralink build on declassified MKUltra subprojects, like the remote electrode implants tested on animals in the 1950s to decode thoughts or stimulate behavior.
Don't forget the Tuskegee experiment (1932–1972), where 600 Black men in Alabama were studied by the U.S. Department of Health over 40 years to observe syphilis progression. They were deceived into thinking they were receiving treatment—they were told they had "bad blood"—but doctors withheld it, even after penicillin became the standard cure in the 1940s, giving them placebos and supplements instead.
We all know there's real stuff going on behind closed doors—projects that would blow our minds. We know they did this once, and similar things in the early 2000s, but it's probably much deeper in places like the CIA, DARPA, and private companies.
Look at the chemicals in our food now—you can't buy much without preservatives, stabilizers, emulsifiers, artificial flavors, or dyes. All horrible.

Polysorbate 80 (emulsifier/stabilizer in many products) can cross the blood-brain barrier, allow toxins in, cause inflammation or cognitive fog in animal models, and interfere with the gut-brain axis—common in ultra-processed foods. Your gut affects hormones, mood, and brain fog.
Heavy metals in food: radioactive shrimp at Walmart, recalled cinnamon for heavy metals, contaminated cheap rice, mercury in fish (farmed fish worse—devoid of nutrients, fed soy, injected with red coloring to look like wild-caught).
Pesticides: Glyphosate (Agent Orange from Vietnam War) sprayed everywhere. Monsanto (now Bayer) pushed GMOs resistant to herbicides, then more spraying. Revolving door with FDA, USDA, EPA. Government subsidizes corn/soy, making it efficient to use pesticides and GMO seeds—farmers buy patented seeds yearly from Monsanto/Bayer, get paid if harvest fails. This contributes to the mental health crisis. Organic isn't subsidized like conventional, and even organic can get contaminated by wind/runoff from neighboring farms. Roundup has a half-life of about 6 months, lasting in the environment. In California and farmed areas, air, rain, and drinking water contain trace pesticides/herbicides.
The Amish have lower rates of sickness and mental disorders because they eat truly organic without this crap.
Trans fats, high-fructose corn syrup, preservatives cause hyperactivity, behavioral issues, act as carcinogens.
Plastics: BPA-free just means other bisphenols (BPB, BPS)—hormone disruptors affecting brain/mind. Plastics in cans, containers leach them. California warns many plastics cause cancer/reproductive harm. Phthalates cause hormone problems in children. Microplastics in every organ release horrible chemicals, disrupting hormones, neurology, gut health.
This is the new MKUltra—covert, widespread, bigger and worse than the original. It always leads back to government (e.g., Monsanto).
Why are these banned in other countries but not here? Drinking water (regulated by government) has high fluoride and chlorine—you can smell it like a pool. Chlorine is toxic when aerosolized. Fluoride claims (controversial) link to docility from concentration camp use; many places now ban it. "Stops child cavities"—but why mass-medicate everyone? Tap water has prescription drug remnants (from urine/flushing), only solids removed and UV-blasted for bacteria before re-entering supply.
Forever chemicals (PFAS/PFOAs in Teflon, manufacturing) don't break down, end up in water. Recent regulations (2022–2023) limit them, but many cities fail tests.
